4th of July

We had such a fun 4th of July this year. During the day my whole family went down to my Aunt Lauri's house and ate and swam. We do it every year. The kids had such a good time. Both of my kids were little "fish." Ruby wouldn't stay in her floaty, so we put water wings on her and she did it all by herself. She was crazy.
My brother and Hudson were crazy with the water noodles.
Hudson brought his squirt gun and would squirt anyone who walked by. He kept yelling for Uncle Greg to come over by the pool because he wasn't in his swimsuit and Hudson wanted to get him wet.
Here's Ruby in her water wings. We thought she was all done swimming so we took her suit off and then she basically jumped in by herself because she wanted to swim some more.

The kids and Amy and I watched as Trent and Brody put on a show for us.

We didn't get back from SLC until 5:30, so we were so tired after swimming all day that we decided to just stay home and do our own fireworks. Trent and I didn't even BBQ, we got dinner for Javier's. Great way to celebrate America's birthday with some good old Mexican Food.

Hudson and daddy lighting up their sparklers. (I hate those things)
Ruby kept taking apart the fireworks.

Where was her mother?

Hudson was in heaven. He loved the fireworks. The best part was we did a few of our own and then both our neighbors across the street did fireworks for over 2 hours. It was the best because we got to watch and have fun while they did all the work and spent all the money on them. Trent said they easily spent over $200-300. Crazy huh.

Super cute pics! That's hilarious you ate Mexican. I'm so sorry to hear about Amy, I'll pray my little heart out for her. I hope she feels better soon-- and I hope your parents get back from the cruise in time!

It looks like you guys had so much fun! How is Amy doing? I have been so worried about her today. If you have a chance, let us know what is going on and if there is anything we can do. We are praying for her.
