Indoor Soccer

Yesterday a girl from my ward called to ask me if I could come play at their indoor soccer game last night. They needed me because one, two girls couldn't make it and one broke her foot. So if they couldn't find someone they would forfeit. I was so excited but nervous because I hadn't played soccer since the first year Trent and I were married. I knew I would be rusty and out of shape. I explained to her those concerns of mine and she really needed me so I decided to go. Little did I forget that when I got there I would have to take off my glasses. How dumb am I, I can't see without my glasses, but I played anyways. I had so much fun, but couldn't see anything. I didn't play too bad but didn't play too good either. And luckily we ended up having one sub, otherwise I think I would have died. It was fun, we lost 4-5 which wasn't bad considering the other team is the best team in the league. I did fall pretty hard on the court on both my knees, they are so swollen and bruised today, I forgot how beat up you get, but it was so fun.
I may continue to play the rest of the season with them, they need me to. I really want to, it will help to get and keep me in shape, and also just have something fun to do. But I still can't see without my glasses and I don't wear contacts because they don't work and Wednesdays are a busy day, so I'll keep you posted if I decide to play with them.
