So Trent booked our 5 year Anniversary trip months ago and he's been keeping it a secret ever since. He did this with our Honeymoon. He didn't tell me till the night before, because I was dying and needed to know what to pack. He told a lot of people where we were going and no one told me. But lately he has been giving me hints here and there. I think the suspense was killing him. So finally he gave me one last clue, he showed me a picture of an emerald. I didn't get it at first. I didn't know what it was and what it was supposed to tell me. But after a few days of thinking about it, I figured it out, Seattle. Wow, I am surprised and excited. It never once crossed my mind as a possibility, and I think that's why he choose it. He wanted to go somewhere different and somewhere fun. Its funny but I've always wanted to go there, maybe he knew that. I've already found things I want to do. Hopefully we will have time to take a boat to Victoria or Vancouver. I went to Canada when I was one, but of course don't remember anything, so it would be fun to go again. Our Anniversary is December 20, but because of Christmas, Ruby's birthday on the 21st and when Grammy was available, we are going November 14-18. I can't wait, I need to get away bad and just be with my Hubby. So if any of you have been there, let me know of some things we have to do.

YAY! good job, I think that you guys will have so much fun, not that i've ever been there, but i've always wanted to. Hopefully its not too bad of weather and doesn't rain the WHOLE time. you should see if you can go to where Twilight is. JK, thats so fun!
How fun! I LOVE Seattle!!! I went a few years ago. You have to go to Pike's Place and the Space Needle (duh). I just did all of the touristy things. My friends live around there. I did go to a comedy club just around the corner and through an alley from Pike's Place. It was so funny. Jake served his mission there so he will be so jealous.
what a romantic hubby! hope you have fun, I've never been there so be sure to tell us about it when you get back, can't wait to see you in a couple weeks
How fun! I wish my husband would do that for me! I love surprises, I also love keeping up with your family! They are so darling, it looks like Hudson made out good with all the candy. love ya
cousin Jami
I am so jealous also! After my morning I could use a get away also! Have so much fun for me! Can't wait to hear all about it. And it is soon too! What are you doing with Shea?
Love Laura
Hooray~ yes we loved it when we went to Seattle!! A little chilly for us Arizonans, but it was such a nice, beautiful place with so many trees. I loved the trees! The most memorable spot was this gorgeous park, with all the fall leaves~ I'm sure it wasn't a famous park or anything, but it was by the canal and boats. You can drive up to a high spot that faces the city, and there are fantastic views. The homes up there were TINY and they were going for $850,000!! If they have the "ducks" going, you should do that! It's a tour in a bus that drives into the water. They have some WAY yummy salmon too. Have fun guys!
Fun!! Im so excited for you! Thats cute that Trent was so excited and trying to keep it a secret but couldnt! Congrats on Five years! Isnt it crazy to think that its been that long.. I felt like we had just been married for a little while when ours hit! :) Take lots of pics and have so so much fun!!
what fun! we just did seattle this past summer. it's a great place! i don't have any great suggestions... we did all the normall touristy stuff. but i've heard the tour of the underground city (or something like that) is really cool! have fun!
