Trent, my bro Jeff, his friend, and I all went to Collective Soul in concert last night, oh my, so good. Emerson Hart, the lead singer of Tonic opened up for them. I had always wanted to see Tonic, but they broke up. So when Emerson came out with a solo CD a few weeks ago, Trent and I were on it. His solo stuff is so good and he played great, he even played some old Tonic. It was so awesome. I had seen Collective Soul back in high school and thought they were one of the best shows, and I have seen quite a few concerts, more than 30, and they are at the top. I have always wanted to see them again and Trent had never seen them before, so we decided to go and boy are we glad we did. Of course I forgot my camera, I did have my phone, but the pics are just not too good. We had a great view. There were only 10 rows of people in front of us, so I got to see the whole band up close and personal, pretty cool. The concert was out at Saltair that is on the Great Salt Lake. Concerts are fun there but there are no seats so you have to stand. And you have to arrive early or you won't get a good place.

Luckily they aren't a heavy band so there was no moshing, just some jumping and dancing, so much fun, and such a rush. Trent and I love concerts and music as many of you know. We are music fanatics. One reasons why Trent loves concerts so much is because he used to be in a band and played in concerts all the time. They were Otis and he was the lead guitar and back-up vocals. I got to see them a few times before there missions, there were pretty good. We have tons of CD's of them if any of you would like to have one. You could even get an autograph. Anyways, if I ever get the pics from my phone on, I will post some. But be sure to check out their website, you can listen to their new CD in full there.
