Yummy

I took dessert last night to Trent's Families FHE and I made this Delicious Rice Krispie Ice cream Treat. You have to try it. I am going to try and post some recipes when I make something really tasty. Oh, and I don't like coconut, but I sure do like it in this.Enjoy!

(side note, its not low fat)

Rice Krispie Ice Cream Treat

1 1/2 cups butter

1 cup brown sugar

1 cups coconut

3 cups Rice Krispies

1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

1/2 gallon of Vanilla Ice Cream (soften so you can spread it)

Hot fudge, Raspberry pie filling, or fresh fruit for topping

Melt together butter and sugar. Add coconuts, nuts, rice krispies and mix well. Pat 1/2 of the mixture in a 9x13 pan, spread 1/2 gallon soften ice cream on top and then the other 1/2 of mixture. Freeze till firm. And serve w/ one of the toppings above. My favorite is the raspberry pie filling.

How's Ruby doing now? Poor little bug. I'm so sorry to hear she's been sick! They thought it was that thing being passed around in the pools- but then no? oh dear oh dear! I hope she's feeling better.
