Well she's officially half a year old. Can you believe it? She actually turned 6 months yesterday on Summer Solstice the longest day of the year. And she was born on Winter Solstice which is the shortest day of the year. She had her check up today, so are you ready for the stats?
Weight- 17lb 6.5oz which is 75%
Height-27 1/2 inches which is 95% (There's height in the family, I just didn't really get it, none of my sisters really did, but my brother did. My uncle B is 6'5" his son Bart is 6'7" and mom is 5'9" and dad is 6'1" so there is prof she could be tall, Hudson is. )
Head-42 cm 70% (Dr. Clawson said her head is great. See at her 2 month check up she was really worried about her flat head on the side. She was quite certain she would need a helmet, $1000. But she said we had until she turned 6 months to do all we could to fix it ourselves, and we did. It was hard work, never leaving her on her head, putting her on her other side, etc. The Dr said a helmet couldn't have done any better, she said its one of the cutest nicest shaped heads she'd seen. Yeah for us. The hard work paid off, but we still have to do it. She can at least sit now though.)
She is healthy and doing well in all her advancements. The Dr thinks she'll be crawling within the next month, so we'll see.

Ruby is about the same size as Emmy is right now. I thought they looked about the same size when we saw you last week. Except she's a little longer than Emmy. I'm glad her head is ok and that she doesn't have to wear a helmet - that would be so sad!
