Lost wedding ring

Trent went to put on his wedding ring on this morning and well, it wasn't there. He said he put it the same spot on our dresser. I asked him if he looked all over by the dresser, and he said he looked everywhere. Then he asked Hudson if he had seen it. He said he had, he said he was playing with it. But you never know. Sometimes if you ask Hudson if he did something or has something he'll say yes when he really doesn't even know what you are talking about. I told Trent that he probably didn't have it. Every time we asked him where he put it he would say, "Is it in here," looking in the closet or in the bed. Then I asked him if he really took it and Hudson asked me to come downstairs and look in his room. So we started to go downstairs and Trent started to follow. Hudson turned around and said, "No Dad, you can't come." Immediately we knew that he had taken it, because he didn't want Trent to come. He took us in his room and started looking. Then I picked up a blanket off of his bed and heard something fall on the floor. Hudson picked up the ring as if he had found it and didn't take it. He said, "Look dad, I found it." The little stink had taken it off the dresser and taken it to bed last night. Boy Trent is lucky and so is Hudson because that was one expensive ring.

How funny! He had the ring the whole time. I lost my wedding ring - once in the washing machine and once in the dryer. I guess I put it in my pockets too much! I hate getting lotion and goo all over it so I always take it off, then forget to put it back on. Well, at least you found the ring!
